Well, a little behind this week with some unfortunate family problems that have clogged up my daily routines.

This week it appears as though we are going to be writting an in class essay on the video we watched titled Our Loss of Wisdom by Barry Schwarz.

My initial thoughts on the video where very good. The video was very simiiar to the previous one we watched in class with Alan De Botton on Success. They both kind of reminded me of an “Anthony Robbins” self-help type presentation. However, I did enjoy the message being portrayed by Barry Schwarz much better than Alan De Botton. His thoughts on Moral Skill and Moral Will could really be felt on all levels of society. Without going into too much detail; having more faith in people and their ability to be wise might just put us on the right direction toward overall societal success.
